ME GETTING AWAY WITH HUBS FOR THE FIRST TIME SANS KIDS IN 9.5 YRS!!!!!!!
Unreal.
It was sooooooo good to get reacquainted with my own headspace during daylight hours and to bask in each other's presence without "Mom, mommy, mom...!"
Taking some time outside of the daily grind helped me put words to things that had been swirling around in my head for the past little while.
If you want to take a read, I shared my reflections on social.
So grateful to my parents for taking on caregiving duties for a few days. What a blessing!
Sharing with you is Gift #1. Because I do believe that honesty (with ourselves and others) is a gift.

And then after that get-away, we all got sick.
For 2 weeks.
That seems to be the theme of our 2022/2023 year thus far.
